The 45th CIGRE, International Council on Large Electric Systems, Conference & Technical Exhibition was held in Palais des Congres Paris.Over 9000 attendees and 200 exhibitors attended this event throughout August 25th-29th, 2014. CIGRE is the biggest international conference in the power industry worldwide. More than 3000 experts, from electric power enterprises, research institutions, government, universities and any other organizations all over the world, attended this meeting to carry out panel discussions for all papers in the fields of CIGRE.
As an exhibitor, Sifang displayed Protection IED, Substation Automation System, Digital Substation Solution, Micro Grid Automation Solution, Power Plant Automation System, Wide Area Measurement System, Smart Distribution Grid Solution, Torsional Stress Protection & Control System, Energy Management System, Wind Farm, PV Station and Battery Energy Storage Solution and made interactive communication with participants from all over the world.
B5 protection and automation subcommittee adopted 31 papers from 23 countries. "The Integrated Tool for Substation Automation System based on IEC61850" was submitted by Dr. Ren and Dr. Deng, which was China's only paper published by B5. During the conference, Dr. Ren communicated with conference participants and shared experiences. Mr. Liu and Mr. Chang participated in the technical discussion in the field of rotating machinery and introduced Sifang’s research and application achievements in the field of sub-synchronous oscillation. Many experts showed a high degree of recognition to Sifang’s innovative research work.
