The 6th International Conference on Power System Protection and Automation was held in New Delhi, India. It was organized by CBIP and associated with CIGRE. More than two hundred experts attended this conference from different countries like Germany, Spain, U.S.A, Sweden, etc. Sifang attended this conference as Golden sponsor.
Deputy general manager of International Business Unit of Sifang, Mr. Wang Bin made speech on the opening ceremony. He introduced Sifang’s history and achievements in Indian power market, analyzed the similar problems in Chinese and Indian power sector and expressed Sifang’s strong wish to support development of Indian power.
Mr. Liu Ju, Sifang’s product expert, made a speech on the development and prospect of Chinese Digital Substation. He also exchanged ideas and thoughts with the worldwide experts. Dr.Shi Bonian’s two papers on Wide Area Protection System also attracted great interest from the experts.
Many experts also discussed Power System Protection and Automation issues with Sifang representatives in tea break. They wish to have more opportunities to cooperate with Sifang in the near future.
