Research and implementation of independent power supply system of Wind/Solar/Battery/Diesel Generator/Fresh Water System for Dongfushan Island Project, conducted by China Guodian Corporation, Zhejiang Electric Power Corporation and SIFANG, passed the technical appraisal organized by Chinese Society For Electrical Engineering on Feb 25, 2012.
The appraisal committee is composed of the academician, Mr. Han Yingduo, and other experts from China Southern Grid Corporation, Tsinghua University, China Electric Power Research Institute, Guohua Energy Investment Corportation of Shenhua Group. After the experts heard about the report and technical achievements of company which implement the project, they agreed that the project had most distributed power supply types and most complex system structure amongst currently established island’s independent power supply system. The research achievements were significant for island’s independent power supply system distributed energy optimization management, micro-grid system planning design, converter control and micro-grid system coordination control. The technology of the project had reached the international advanced level.
Wind/Solar/Battery/Diesel Generator/Fresh Water System for Dongfushan Island Project is first national pilot project for island’s integrated utilization of new energy. SIFANG took on the R&D of key equipments, system design and system debugging tasks. SIFANG provides the new products such as CSGC3000 micro-grid protection and monitoring system, micro-grid mode controller, 300kW energy storage bi-direction converter.With effort of distribution network division and new energy center, the entire system was put into trial operation in Mar, 2011. Till now, it has been operated smoothly.
