Pattaya Smart-grid Project is a strategic project for the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) of Thailand. This project will be the first to implement a fully digitalized substation solution for commercial operation. This imitative starts in 2015, and is and will be the focal point of the smart grid adoption of PEA and neighboring utilities in the region of the Southeast Asia.
Through several rounds of in-depth overall solution discussions with PEA, Consulting Company and General Contractor, SIFANG’s advanced technical solution and experienced team wins over competitors from worldwide and is selected by PEA Thailand for this critical contract.
In May 2018, Parties signed the contract officially and the project moved to the delivery phase. The winning of this contract is a major breakthrough of China's high-end power grid technology in oversea market. It will be a solid foundation for the growth of SIFANG’s international business.
