The United Iron and Steel Project in the Kuantan Industrial Park in Malaysia is a cooperation project promoted by the governments of China and Malaysia and a pilot demonstration project of the Belt and Road Initiative. As the secondary equipment supplier for this project, SIFANG provided the overall plant integrated automation system, centralized control center system (EMS), etc. The project involved a total of 6×35kV substations, 21×10kV substations, and one control cente.
